NewYorker Chad Brachmann made the long tow to Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedwayworth it as he dominated the 30 lap Modisaurus Mod Tour event on Saturday, May25, 2013 picking up the $1,500 top prize money.

The 30-lap Modisaurus main event saw New Yorkers RickRichner and defending race winner Randy Chrysler lead the 28 car field to thegreen. Richner led the first three laps before Chad Brachmann took the lead onthe fourth circuit. Brachmann built up a half lap lead over Richner as thefirst 22 laps were caution free. Rex King, Sr., Rex King, Jr. and BrianSwartzlander battled for positions three through five and swapped the positionsmultiple times.

            BobWarren's spin on lap 23 would also find him collecting Richner, who had noplace to go. The New Yorkdriver retired to the pit area with damage to his front end. The final sevencircuits would find Brachmann weathering four more cautions before he went onto capture the win in the Modified Tour opener. Swartzlander, King, Jr.,Jeremiah Shingledecker (who started the event in the 28th spot aftergoing to a backup car) and King, Sr. rounded out the top five.  Sixth through tenth went to Kevin Hoffman,Randy Chrysler, Dave Murdick, Eric Gabany, and Ron Cartwright, Jr.
