Conneaut, OH (June 26, 2015): The BRP Big Block Modified Tour made its annual visit to Raceway 7 with a full field of 32 ground-pounders signing into the pit area. When Rex King, Sr. took part in round one of the Smackdown! at Mercer Raceway Park back on July 12, his night did not go as he had hoped, as his was the first car to exit the race due to a lap one, turn one incident. Sunday night, he gained redemption for that, winning the twice-delayed Smackdown! night 2 event in the BRP Modified Tour feature.

After our first four races of the season, drivers have brought up an issue regarding lapped cars and where they should lineup on restarts. The rule was for lapped cars to have their choice whether they would like to hold their position or to restart at the tail behind the lead lap cars.
